Executive Coaching

Being a successful leader in a fast-paced and increasingly complex world is no simple task, especially in today’s world. Whether you are trying to accelerate a high potential’s growth or keep a valued and critical member of your team from derailing, working with a coach to help your leaders learn how to maximize their skill sets is a wise investment.

While stand-up leadership training programs can be helpful in some situations, they do not consistently help participants reach their goals. Coaching produces measurable, lasting behavior change that readily transfers to the individual’s real work on the job.

Common issues for coaching include:

  • Enhancing leadership skills
  • Developing ability to influence others
  • Thinking more strategically
  • Softening abrasive interpersonal style
  • Learning to manage conflict more effectively
  • Honing executive presence

As an organizational psychologist for 25 years, I have learned that one size does not fit all. I customize coaching to each person’s needs, whether to prepare for and transition to a new level or maximize performance in their current role. I use assessment inventories and techniques to identify both strengths and specific things that get in the way of an individual’s high performance. I work with people to build more effective leadership strategies and teach them the necessary skills to execute on those strategies. I also help their managers gain insights into how to best support the individual’s behavior change.

The outcome? Peak performance.
